The Audacity (2026)

With the new technology of AI – Artists must adapt. This particular project was part of my growth in understanding the benefits of this new technology.

At the time, most clients were understandably cautious of AI. However, AMC was the first to give a go-ahead to use AI in its entire capacity to create concepts for it’s new show The Audacity.

The Audacity is a satire of Silicon Valley. It follows people who will do anything for profit– no matter the cost. My very first idea was an image of the cast in a free fall. Tech titans falling through mid-air, tethered to no sense of morality or consequence for the God of profit.

To create this, I generated individual images of the cast in their likeness in Midjourney’s AI software:

A sample of over 800 unique generations.

There were over 300 unique image generations.

I then took these elements and composed them together by hand. I arranged these characters in the style of a renaissance painting. As if they were being raptured for their sins:

After the presentation to the client, the showrunners thought my concept repersented their show the best. They then photographed the cast in these poses. For insurance reasons, actors couldn’t literally be falling. So our creative team had to carefully manipulate limbs and hair to create the illusion of falling.

These were some of my earliest executions with the photography from the shoot:

Many rounds later, through careful collaboration with the client– this was the final result:
