I got the opportunity to show work on an international stage at the Basel art fair in Miami. Oddly enough, the images were created in complete isolation during the depths of quarantine. They generated as a result of my own psychological frustation that I experienced during the COVID-19 quarantine in 2020-2021. I was interested in creating bodily forms that did not exist. Images that would make your skin crawl; as if you were ripping your own flesh off. My own friends modeled for me in a myriad of poses and I manipulated their bodies into one organism.
